This was one of the highlights of our trip. To see the flowing lava burning the trees and to feel the heat from the lava, even 500 feet above the ground, was absolutely amazing! This is the way to see the volcano!

By far the highlight of our trip to the Big Island. Our pilot was great and gave us a lot of history and fun facts. The 'doors off' flight is the only way to go. There would be no other way to see what we did if we had not booked this excursion. We really did 'feel the heat'. You just cant see from the ground what you see from the air. All the staff was great and even went so far as to make some accommodation for one of our party that has trouble walking and climbing stairs. Keep up the good work.

The open door helicopter ride over the volcano was the coolest thing we've ever done! (Cool in more sense than one...dress warmly!) The pilot was very entertaining and a very informed tour guide, and we were lucky enough to see lava flowing into the ocean on the day of our trip! Definitely worth every penny.

My partner and I really enjoyed the open door helicopter ride. Our pilot was really informative and friendly. We got to sit at the front of the helicopter so we could see absolutely everything- which was great. We got up real close to the Volano, although there was just smoke, it was still amazing. He flew us over some live lava and took us to the sea where it was steaming from when the lava hits the water. The ride was surprisingly smooth as well.
