Description

Here's how to order:

  1. Click Reserve Now
  2. Choose how many leis you want
  3. Enter the name of each lucky recipient
  4. Enter airline and flight information
  5. When you arrive in Kona, look for a sign with your name on it at the baggage claim area and receive your wonderful island greeting

Treat yourself to one of our traditional single-strand leis, featuring beautiful Dendrobium Orchids, Carnations, Plumerias, tuberose or a combination of these flowers.

Upgrade to our beautiful superior lei, which is fuller than our standard lei, featuring double the amount of flowers (Dendrobium Orchids, Carnations, Plumerias, Tuberose or a combination of these).

Or choose the Deluxe lei, which is our most lavish lei, featuring three times the amount of flowers (Dendrobium Orchids, Carnations, Plumerias, tuberose or a combination of these).

The history of the lei dates back to the ancient Hawaiians, who wore braided leaves, native flowers, shells, feathers, stones & bones to beautify themselves & offered these garlands to each other & to their gods as a symbol of love & friendship.

The lei was treasured & worn with pride by people of every age. During the late 1800's, the popularity of the lei grew as visitors who arrived by ship were greeted with aloha & presented with floral leis. Legends grew around the luck of the lei.

It was said if departing visitors tossed their leis into the ocean & it floated back to the beach, it meant that they would someday return to Hawaii. As a result, hundreds of leis could be seen floating in the water each time a ship steamed away.

Leis are still carefully made by hand, weaving fragrant, colorful flowers & leaves together to create a work of art. Leis are worn on all special occasions & given to family and friends as gifts of love. Indeed, the lei is a symbol of Hawaii.

The greeter was ready for us and greeted each of us with a beautiful lei. She even was nice enough to take our group picture with our own cameras. Great Hawaiian greeting.

Missed it due to flight cancellation. Not possible to get in touch with you to inform you about cancellation. Nice people at Kona Airport gave us leis worth $8-9 when showing coupon. Remaining value is lost.

The timing was bad, you had one person for like 4 greetings. My friends(first timers) had to wait for others and it wasted the suprise. Thanks a lot.
