definitely would do it again, especially if volcano was a bit more active. especially loved being up front next to pilot, no probs, some in the back wernt feeling so good however.

Tremendous experience. If I had to plan my vacation again, I would make this the first thing to do. Our pilot was extraordinarily helpful and pointed out lots of details about top island attractions. Smooth ride, no one felt uncomfortable despite some strong winds and rain. We walked on cooled lava beds steaming with sulfurous gas and saw lava flows, 200 foot tall waterfalls, lush green valleys, and a surprise still preserved from the history of Hawaii. Just be sure your camera batteries are fully charged!

OH MY GOD! This was the best. We saw active lava. The pilot talked to us the entire time showing us all the sites. We landed in the valley which was amazing. My wife and I walked through the river and had a blast. I did not want it to end.
