Tickets & ConfirmationImmediately after submitting your reservation you will receive a receipt of booking by email. Within 48 hours (often on the very same day!) of submitting your reservation you will receive a voucher confirming all details. - In the field provided, please indicate the day that you prefer to take your snorkel cruise. You may book your snorkel cruise within 7 days of your submarine tour. Book the 10:00am submarine tour if you wish to do both adventures on the same day.
Submarine Adventure Our submarine adventure is approximately 1 hour (35 minutes underwater). Every dive is unique and you never know what you will see - beautiful, vibrant reef fish, eels, lobster - maybe even a turtle or a reef shark! Your journey begins with a 10-15 minute scenic boat ride out to the dive site.
Spend approximately 35 minutes below the ocean's surface. An expert narrator will inform you of everything from the formation of the Hawaiian Islands to the many species of marine life unique to the Hawaiian waters. View fascinating natural and artificial reefs in air-conditioned comfort!
The submarine is 65-feet long, with space for 48-passengers. It's equipped with air-conditioning and has 26 large, 2-foot diameter side view ports and an extra large 53" front view port. Our submarine, as featured in National Geographic television specials, will take you to depths up to 100 feet!
Snorkel Cruise Our cruise departs at 1:00pm and returns at 4:00pm. While onboard our 51-foot vessel, enjoy complimentary sodas, juices and snacks. We include all snorkel gear, instruction, 1.5 hours of water time and use of our 15-foot waterslide and freshwater showers!
Helpful Information:
1. Guests must check-in at the Atlantis Submarine ticket office on Alii Drive located across from the Kailua-Kona Pier.
2. Check-in required 30 minutes before the scheduled submarine tour time.
3. Submarine tours depart seven days a week beginning at 10:00 AM weather permitting.
4. Actual underwater tour time is 35 minutes. Shuttle boat ride from the pier to the submarine site plus transfer is 10 minutes each way.
5. Children must be 36 inches or taller to ride the submarine.
6. Passengers must be physically capable of ascending and descending a near vertical ladder in order to ride the submarine.
7. All tours are in English. Headsets providing narrations in Japanese are available upon request.
